Mission Statement

It is the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children, to the extent of funds allocated in its annual budgets, to:

Provide skillful and compassionate medical care for eligable children with congenital or aquired neuromusculoskeletal disabilities or bun injuries, wholly free of charge to said children, their parents or guardian, and without regard to race, color, creed, sex or sect;

Provide for education of physicians, surgeons, nurses and others of healthcare professions; and conduct research dedicated to the discovery of medical information which will improve the care of patients with neuromusculo-skeletal disabilities and burn injuries, and lead to the cure and/or prevention of both.

This mission is to be accomplished without seeking or accepting direct or indirect government support, but with the financial and participatory support of Shriners and other who would share in this cause.
